Standard of Practice
Following the ASHI Standard of Practice, our inspections are adapted to the specifics of the given home however in general we work top to bottom, exterior to interior, and then room to room - all with a focus on function and safety.

We work: Mondays - Saturdays (6 days/week)
Expedited inspections (24 hour turnaround) and Sunday inspections are available. Please phone us to schedule these.

Home Inspectors think of your home in modules. We are focused on function and safety. Each of the functional areas shown above will be carefully examined during your inspection. Some of your home features are not readily accessible and we are prepared to climb, crawl, and enter tight spaces. We bring the needed protective gear and equipment to gain access to all needed areas of your home.
Expedited Inspection: Are you on a very tight schedule and must have your inspection report back by the next day? Take advantage of our Expedited Inspection to guarantee that your Inspection and the Inspection Report will be completed within 24 hours. Must call us at 517-227-4150 to schedule an expedited inspection.
Pricing
Our home inspection pricing is highly competitive and our reports can be emailed and are detailed and easy to digest. We do not charge for travel time and often travel up to 75 miles to perform an inspection. The size of your home does play a part in determining the inspection price (see below):
Residential Home Inspections:
  • $350 - under 3500 sq. ft.
  • $425 - over 3500 sq. ft.
  • No Charge - phone calls
  • TBD - Other Requests
  • Seller's Pre-Listing Walkthrough: $129
We work: Monday - Saturday (6 days/week)
Sunday Inspections are available at 50% surcharge.
Out of Time? We offer a guaranteed 24 hour turnaround on your inspection for a 100% expedite fee. Must phone us to schedule an expedited inspection.
